When we want to lose weight we often ask ourselves this question.
Iam ok with all the other areas of my body except my abdominal area… or my hips… or my booty area… Is this possible?

The brief answer to this question is no.

But there are solutions and techniques that would help you achieve what you want.

Fats are stored in the adipose cells, which are the energy reserves of our body. Our body “search” for them when the energy obtained from food intake is insufficient for normal functioning of the processes in our body and to give enough energy for our physical activity.

Our body decides where to store energy/fat and in case of deficit – from which area to take. Forming and regulating our energy reserve/fat is complex mechanism formed as early as prehistoric times when food was not enough and inefficient from the point of view of the energy contained and nutrients therein. Acquisition of food has cost many human efforts, time and energy. In order to survive in these conditions evolution has made decisions and mechanisms for survival in extreme conditions of energy deficit.

Our body naturally stores energy in form of fat for times when there will be a lack of it in order to survive as much time in the event of hunger and food shortages.

The body "decides" in which part of the body and how many to store or take. There is some genetic dependency on any person of the number and location of fat cells, another part of this mechanism is regulated by our hormonal profile at a given moment.

The processes taking place in our body and regulate the location and “unlocking” our energy stocks are very complex, part of them are not well studied. We present a general picture to give you an idea without going into details.

Some of these processes in this picture are the separation of stored fat “operational” reserve and “hard” reserve. As relative and conditional is this division - practically in every area of storage we can find simultaneous operational and hard reserves of fat. However, experience shows that there are areas in which when go on a diet deficient in power very easily and quickly lose fat accumulated there fat reserves – operational reserve – and areas which persistently do not change or change is very slow compared to other parts. Areas which are difficult to "unlock" the withdrawal of stored fat can be called conditionally areas “hard” reserve of energy. Such areas we call not only the areas with a large number of fat cells but also a hard unlockable.

“Hard reserve” is a concept, not precise physical separation. It changes to our energy intake and reserve.
This conditional division also has prehistoric origins, it is not one and the same thing to survive several days with reduced food and to survive long periods with little energy. The mechanisms to deal with such situations are different, for example in the winter. For longer period of time deficiency of energy our body “accept” that the stocks should be enough for a long period of time, our body “search” for them rarely. Countervail the deficit slowing metabolism. Usually areas with hard reserves are those areas which most annoy us, we most want to change. Practically does not exist or there is no scientifically proven mechanism to use in removing fats from the areas we want.

The body is an integrated energy system. When we have a surplus of energy accumulating reserves; when we have a deficit spend those reserves without being able to control the places where the reserves are taken.

It would be very nice if you were a woman and have a mechanism to “remove” a little fat from the abdomen and hips, for example, to set them to the breasts to make them bigger in size. But there is no such a mechanism. Human metabolism has its own way of functioning which in most cases differ from our desires.

What we can do… what is the solution?

First, be persistent. The diet should not be temporary. Lasting change would occur when permanently change your habits. In proper diet, training and lifestyle our body would take excess fat from problem areas for you.

You should train. Appropriate for you physical activity is important not only as an additional energy consumption that would help you lose weight. When you train changing in a positive direction your hormonal profile which is one of the determinative factors for the regulation process of losing weight. Growing of the muscles also contributes to faster burning of excess fat.

Choose carefully your diet. Your diets should not be for a long period of time, with extremely low calories intake and unbalanced microelements and vitamins. The result of such decisions is slow metabolism, you would burn fat harder rather than quickly. Your body would try to have as much as possible a large amount of “hard” reserve.
